    I also had to tolerate denying strict aliasing (which is normally a good idea to leave in) because the pf driver and a couple others refused to build with strict aliasing:. Here are the other options I did. I passed safe-cflags for this particular Power Mac in CONF_CFLAGS. Though the kernel doesn’t support altivec, GCC (the compiler) does, which will help build the kernel quicker.
